Internal Rules

Chapter I

Article 1

General Provisions:

  1. Operation and use of the camping will be governed by the rules contained in this Regulation and other applicable legislation.

  2. The Camping Termas de Melgaço is designed exclusively to the practice of camping and caravanning.

Article 2

Working period:

  1. The Camping Termas de Melgaço is open all year.

  2. The reception is open from 09:00 to 23:00. (except in low season, running from 09:00 to 18 or 19:00 hours)

  3. 3.1- The check-in period will be from 14:00 to 19:00;

3.2- The check-out period will be from 09:00 to 12:00. In case of early check-out it is necessary to inform the reception until the day before departure;

  1. In periods that not include the operating hours of the reception, the users will have the support of an electronic system that assumes the role of doorman as well as a contact that guarantees permanent support for 24 hours.

Article 3

Silence Period:

  1. The camping Termas de Melgaço during operation will have a quiet period between 22:00 and 08:00.

Article 4


  1. Usage fees are listed in the general price's table of Camping Termas de Melgaço, updated annually.

  2. The payment due for the use of the camping has to be paid up to the departure date.

Article 5

Access to the Camping:

With the exception of the visits, entry into the Camping for purposes other than camping is subject to the prior authorization of the person responsible for the park.

Chapter II

Article 6

Requirements for admission:

  1. Head campers and their agregates will only be admitted if carrying one of the foloqing documents:

a)Citizen Card, Driving License or Passport.

  1. The entry of visitors and material into the campsite could only occur during the reception hours, as listed in paragraph 2 of article 2.

Article 7


Aggregates are people who use jointly the same set of camping equipment.

Article 8

Underage admission:

It is only permitted the admission of children under 16 when they are accompanied by their parents or other adults who are responsible for them.

Article 9


  1. For the purposes of this Regulation, visitors are those who do not equipped whit camping equipment.

  2. The visitors can only enter the campsite during the opening hours of the reception, and also when the following conditions:

a) The head camper or one of his/her aggregate must be present at registration;

b) Pay the respective fee;

c) Use a visitor card in the campsite.

  1. The visitor will deliverat the receipt of the campsite an indentify card with photograph which will be returned when definitely leave the campsite facilities.

  2. The visitor will have to leave the campsite facilities until 22:00.

  3. If the visitor wants to stay overnight in the park at camper facilities visited, he/she must inform the reception of this situation and pay the fee due.

  4. Any disruptions or damage caused by visitors are the responsability of the visited camper.

Chapter III

Article 10


  1. In the act of user admission, the camper will be registered in an appropriate form, containing indication of the arrival date, expected date of departure, all indentifying elements of the user, their family or endorsed aggregate material making up their camp, rolling stock and respective registration, which want to nter the park.

Article 11

Cards or Lables:

  1. Control cards will be handed over to users and should be used as follows:

a) Card must always be in possession of the users, it is personal and not transferable;

b) Free-transit must be placed inside the vehicle near the windshiedl in order to be visible from the outside;

c) Lable for installation of equipment with the order number must be placed in visible place in the installed equipment;

d) Magnetic card for opening and closing the entrance gate of the campsite.

  1. All cards will be returned on leaving the park, in exchange for the indentification document placed at the reception previously.

  2. The loss if the card described in item d) incurs a fee of € 10.

Chapter IV

Article 12

Users of the Camping Termas de Melgaço have the following rights:

a) Use the facilities and services in accordance with the requirements of this regulation;

b) Know the prices beforehand;

c) Require the issuance of a document;

d) Require the presentation of the regulation of the campsite;

e) Require the presentation of the complaint book;

f) To submit complaints or suggestions, in writing, aboutr the operation of the campsite, indicating for this purpose its full name and address and the respective identification document, on the grounds that they can not be considered;

g) Keep their accommodation inviolable, in particular by preventing entry into it and opening of their windows or doors to others.

Capitulo V

Artigo 13º

Deveres dos utilizadores:

  1. Users of the campsite shall:

  1. Accomplish the authority of those responsaible for the campsite;

  2. To comply with the hygiene standards adopted, especially those referring to the destinations of garbage and dirty water, washing and drying clothes;

  3. Refrain from disturbing other users, especially during the silence period;

  4. Install their equipment in a way that does not harm other campers, unless otherwise agreed;

  5. Do not light a fire outside the intended places;

  6. Comply with the traffic signs inside the campsite;

  7. Do not introduce people into the campsite without proper authorization.

  1. Users are not permitted to:

  1. Washing dishes or clothes inside the baths

  2. Destroying or molesting trees or other plants;

  3. Use wire or put ropes, wires and others less than 2,5m high ground;

  4. Transpose the campsite fence;

  5. Establish fixed structures;

  6. To construct limitations around the camping equipment, with spies, ropes, stones and others;

  7. Leave the taps open after use;

  8. Leave dirty when leaving the park, the place where it was installed.

Article 14


Those responsible for the campsite disclaim any responsibility for accidents, damage, theft, the campers and their stuff.

Chapter VI

Article 15


  1. The vehicle taht is not registred in the reception can not enter the park in any way;

  2. The circulation of the vehicles inside the campsite is only allowed when entering or leaving the park:

  1. Do not exceed the speed of 10 km/h;

  2. Follow the warning signs;

  3. Do not park in order to prevent or hinder the movement of traffic or access to the lots;

  4. Not make use of beeps;

  1. The circulation of non-motorized bicicles is limited and may be prohibited if circumstances suggest.

Article 16


  1. Pets are allowed in the campsite upon payment of the respective fee.

  2. Each user of the campsite can only be accompanied by a maximum of 2 pets.

  3. Those responsible for the animals must taje them to the places indicated in the campsite in order to carry out their physiological needs in the said places.

  4. It is forbidden to hold pets in grills, poles or other materials of the campsite.

  5. It is forbidden to leave the animals inside the park without the accompaniment of a responsible one.

  6. For the bungalows, the user must be accompanied by a travel bed, blankets or other instrument which he/she deems appropriate for the sleeping animal.

  7. It is not allowed to use the blankets and other materials inside the bungalow for the warmth of the pets.

Chapter VII

Article 17


  1. The reception of the campsite is intented to provide services related to the admission and staying periods of the users.

  2. The reception operates in accordance with the provisions in nº2 in article 2.

  3. At the reception must be clearly marked first aid equipment.

Article 18


  1. The mini market, bar and the lounge are open for the same time as the reception.

Article 19

Containers and bins for solid waste:

  1. Buckets and solid waste containers are to be deposit all waste organized by the users of the park;

  2. It is prohibited to leave or throw the solid waste outside appropriate containers;

  3. Whenever users find that the deposit container is full, should report that to the reception in order to replace it.

Article 20

  1. The campsite is quipped whit security and fire protection systems and personnel are properly instructed in the management of the means of combat and the measures to be taken in case of fire.

  2. Firefighting standards are exposed to knowledge of users.

  3. The park will be exhibited in conspicuous places the emergency and security plans.

Article 21

Leisure venues:

The playground can only be used by children under 12 years old.

Article 22

Finding objects:

  1. All finding objects must be delivered at the reception;

  2. For the purposes of the preceding paragraph shall be recorded in book the name of the person who found them and the name of the owner for the objects when they are returned.

  3. All objects mentioned in the previous paragraphs are stored for a maximum period of 6 months, after the mentioned deadline the abandoned material will be available to Melgaço Radical.

Article 23

Abandoned material:

  1. It is considered abandoned material when it appears one of the following:

  1. If it's not properly identified;

  2. Stay on the campsite in the closure period, that is not used by its owner for a period of sixty days;

  3. When are missing the payment due for more than 15 days.

  1. Abandoned material will be removed by the park service.

Article 24

Costs of payment:

When the identify of the owner of the abandoned material is known, this will be notified by registered letter with accknowledgment of receipt for you to pay for the costs of the procedures resulting from the abandonment of the material (occupation, removal and storage).

Article 25

Lost material:

  1. The material removed is stored for a maximum of 30 days counted from the letter of receipt referred to in the previous article;

  2. At the end of that period, the abandoned materials will be available to Melgaço Radical as well as one that is unknown its owner.

Article 26


  1. The campsite Termas de Melgaço has four bungalows;

  2. One bungalow with capacity for 5 persons, one with capacity for 4 persons and two with capacity for 3 persons;

  1. 4.1- The check-in period is from 14h to 19h

4.2- The check-out period is from 9h to 12h

Article 27


  1. Reservations may be made up to 10 months before the date of stay by telephone or e-mail;

  2. It is only allowed to reserve a bungalow per person;

  3. The reservation of the bungalow is made as follows:

  1. In personal;

  2. By telephone or e-mail from the period indicated in the previous paragraph with the priority set by the minute bookings entry.

  1. Reservations are accepted for bungalows by the pre-payment of 50% of the stay price;

  2. Reservations must be confirmed within 48h by sending the proof of payment referred to in the previous paragraph;

  3. The amount paid in advance in order to confirm the reservation is not refunded in case of no show or cancellation, but may be used as a credit in a future reservation where both parties are available.

Chapter VIII

Article 28

Unlawful administrative offense:

  1. The stay will be prevented in the campsite around the one who, after being warned, does not respect the provisions of this Regulation, subject to the application of administrative offenses which may be applicable.

Article 29


  1. Violation of articles of this regulation will be punished with a fine to be determined by law.

Article 30


The cases shall be resolved by the operator.

Article 31


  1. The campsite will have areas reserved for caravans and auto caravans;

  2. The station supply and disposal of waste and fluids will be used on payment of a fee which is in the price list;

  3. Only be permitted in appropriate material to the pratice of camping such as tentsm caravans, advanced, cars – tents, camping kitchens and other similar material;

  4. Refrain from limiting any indoor area or outside the area that it was intended to camp beyond the installation;

Article 32

Entry into force:

This being regularly into force after 15 days from the date of publication.
